Rockin' at the Fox!

If I was to recommend a band to you, would you go see them? Would you at least watch one of their videos on YouTube? If you possibly can, go and see 'Fitz and the Tantrums.' I know its a dumb name. If you can move beyond that, I absolutely guarantee you will come away with a big smile on your face from dancing your little pitootee off. Go ahead, take a chance, before they get too big!

The Phoenix Riseth

World renowned sculptor Jerry Wingren hoisted his creative flag one more time this summer solstice. Despite having his studio, along with his tools and works burned to the ground in last fall's Four Mile Fire, his spirit has nonetheless been reborn. Party-goers rejoiced into the evening in celebration of the indomitable human creative spirit. Thanks to Arch 11 Architecture for their gracious donation of design services for the new studio enabling the magic to once again flow freely up on Logan Mill. Little Sure Shot

Went for a hike a week or so ago, up to some old meadows with a homestead chimney still standing off in one corner. I offered Grace some stories placing her in a nineteenth century girl's identity; a bit Annie Oakley. She loved it and came home saying "I want to take off this fruity little cupcake t-shirt I have on and put on some 'cowgirl clothes'" I bought her some old 1950's Annie Oakley movie serial DVD's and now I can't get her away from wanting to rope and ride!
