Saw this guy watering his lawn on July 4, went up and asked if I could take his photo. He told me about the history of his house and his involvement in the area captaining nuclear submarines for thirty years, nice guy. Turns out, I find out later he was no captain, he was an admiral- pretty cool (sly devil)!

This thing we call the modern American family, imperfect as it is, it sure beats being forlorn and homeless. I appreciate all the friends and family out there rooting for the old man.
