The old girl just rolled over on her side and never got up again. Like a dinosaur that couldn't or wouldn't adapt, she gave her last sigh and simply refused to climb that mountain any more.

we found a burned chassis in an abandoned park (it was a retreat in the 1800's, now it's so surrounded with busy roadways no one knows it's there) we wondered how it got there. or how it burned. or how no one noticed or came to clean up the wreckage.
